Quotas

With the UK Plastic Tax, the Spanish Plastic Tax and the Indian legislation on waste plastics, the first jurisdictions are requiring the use of recycled plastics in products. The European Union is aiming to pass  legislation by June 2024 that will introduce post-consumer recyclates (PCR) quotas for plastic packaging and automotive of 25% recycled content and more. Other jurisdiction will follow suit. Cirplus supports you in achieving these targets with procurement of recyclates from certified sources ahead of time.

Reducing the carbon footprint

Did you know? The plastic industry emits twice as much CO2 as the entire aviation sector. By replacing a ton of virgin  with a ton of recycled plastics, up to 80% of CO2_e can be saved - already in the first cycle. The more often plastic gets recycled, the better its carbon footprint.

Digital Product passport

How do you ensure consistency in material data transfer  in circular raw materials? How to balance the legitimate business interests in trade secrets with the need for transparency at the end-of-lifecycle of a material?

Standardizing the data capture, storage and transfer of materials lies at the center of introducing Digital Product Passports (DPP). Cirplus has developed a unique such passport tailored towards the  specific needs of plastic waste feedstock and recyclates. We can help you get ahead of the competiton by adopting DPPs before everyone else does.
